Leisure and commercial

Commercial abandonments are everywhere, the most frequent are old shophouses. Hotels and leisure sites are however far and few between.

So with that in mind I made it a point to travel up to Penang to see the old Crag Hotel, a pre war 5 star hotel. Other possible locations for abandoned leisures sites will most probably be the old hill stations, Frasers Hill and Cameron Highlands.

  The Crag hotel & the school on the hill
Visit date: 2008 | Year of build: 1929
One of Penang's top hotels in the 1930's. Today it sits abandoned, if authorites got their act together this once again could be a top tourist attraction.
The Shop house
