Black and white | 1930's

An abandoned pre war family house in the middle of Johor Bahru.

Annoyingly enough the wooden floor boards of the 1st floor have all been stripped out, effectively converting this old property into a bungalow. Old houses like this are a good free source of wood to scrap thieves, leaving many sites like this in worse condition than they were in. It also obviously puts the whole structural stability of the building into a dangerous state of play as well.

Inside the house some original contents still litter the floor. A collection of English 50's, 60's era books can also be found under the rubble, a bit worse for wear now as you can imagine.
The plot next to this house, once had a cluster of pre war houses on it. These houses were knocked down sometime in the 60's for a hotel project that never went through.
