Home school house | 1930's

Abandonments always pop up in the most unlikeliness of places, this house is on a busy main road with a royal palace just a stones throw away on the other side of the road.
As I understand it, this house was last used as a school. To the rear of the property, where normally the house keepers quarters would have been, had instead been converted into additional class room space.

The main entrance to the house has no overhead carriage porch, but a simple open entrance and a overhanging roof. The original front door, which must have been large and grand, has instead been replaced by bland flush doors.
In its original form the house would have been symmetrical, a new extension has however been added to the west wing, now unbalancing the original design.
