Guinness house | 1934

This is a very compact 1934 two bedroom abode. This is truly a building which best demonstrates that quality does not have to mean quantity.

The overall architecture and decoration incoporates many different elements from Chinese, Malay and European influences.
From its ornate decoration to the front of the property it was clearly made for a Chinese family back in the day.

The original paint colours can still be seen on the walls, wooden window frames and doors, if a little worn out. It surely must have been a bright happy place when new.
However, locals claim the original owner was murdered within its walls and so believe evil spirit reside within. I hate that when that happens.

The mere suggestion of this has had an interesting bonus effect (if you can call it that), as it has rendered the property more or less immune to vandals, graffiti (not counting occult loonies) and even scrap metal thieves! Who would have guessed, evil spirits, the ultimate in building conservation!

As I am a paid up skeptic I am naturally immune from such evilness and so bring you these pics.
