Carpark house | 1920-1930's

The grounds of this once proud house has been turned into a makeshift carpark, and
the house itself, a dumping ground for rubbish.

Before the war this house was one of three houses belonging to a large extended family, the head of the family had no less than six wives! Today only one other house survives and it has been turned into a shop, the other house was demolished to make way for a petrol station.

As can be seen from the pictures, the house has since seen considerable damage from the elements, as well as the usual material theft and vandalism. The upstairs was unfortunately inaccessible with the main staircase in an unsafe state.
The main carriage porch has seen modern modifications having been blocked up at opposite sides and converted into an entrance hall. Within this entrance hall also sports a tacky tiled water feature. From the looks of it I would put my money on it, that this house was once used as a night club in recent years.
