Adorable mansion | 1920-1930's

Those who drive towards the beach resorts along Batu Feringgi will no doubt have noticed this abandoned property along the way.
The building itself does not have a 1st floor anymore as someone has stolen all the floor boards. The sites grounds are now heavily overgrown and the building is slowly being sucked back into nature.

Locals call this place the "Adorable Mansion", allegedly this is the name the original owner gave it when it was first built. For me it's touch and go wether one can actually describe this building as a mansion, but with its scenic location along an exclusive beach, why not.

What's interesting and strange about the house itself, is that there are no main internal stairs linking the ground and first floor. One has to use either one of the two exterior stair ways if they want to get to the ground floor and beach. Perhaps this is a good indication that this house was more of a weekend getaway than a full time residence.

Towards the sea front there are concrete platforms, steps and railings, allowing past owners to relax by the sea. It must have been an idyllic setting back in the day.
