Concrete trench:- (#27 on the layout map)





Walking further down the slope on the south side of the battery is a concrete trench system. Taking pictures to show the proper layout and features was hard due to how overgrown the area was.
I also made sure to check the floor area of this trench to see if there were any sign of mounting points for machine guns or other equipment, but could see no evidence of this.

There might be more of these trenches hidden underneath all the lalang along this south slope, but until we can get official permission to clear the site this will remain a mystery.
